The L2D2 consortium was glad to have a presence at the American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring Meeting 2023, a major international event bringing together researchers across chemistry, materials science, and related fields. The meeting was held 26–30 March 2023 in Indianapolis, United States.

As part of the technical programme, Prof. Doron Naveh (Bar-Ilan University) delivered an oral presentation entitled “Thiol-Based Defect Healing of Thin WSe₂.” The talk focused on thiol-based strategies for addressing defects in thin tungsten diselenide (WSe₂), an important direction for improving the performance and reliability of devices based on 2D semiconductors.

ACS Spring Meetings offer a high-profile platform for exchanging ideas across disciplines, making them a strong venue for communicating L2D2-relevant advances and building ties with the broader research community working on emerging materials and next-generation technologies.
