L2D2 at the Photonics Partnership Annual Meeting 2023 in Brussels

The L2D2 consortium joined the Photonics Partnership Annual Meeting 2023, held 26–27 April 2023 in Brussels.

Prof. Ioanna Zergioti took part in the meeting, contributing to L2D2’s ongoing engagement with the European photonics ecosystem and its links to industry and research stakeholders and more specifically to the panel discussion: Panel Discussion “Quo Vadis Photonics? The

Industrial Strategy for Photonics in the EU and abroad”.

This year’s Annual Meeting centred on critical value chains for Europe’s strategic autonomy, and the second-day workshops—run under Photonics21—initiated the research and innovation priority-setting process that feeds into upcoming photonics call topics from the European Commission under Horizon Europe.
